Gary serves as the President for ALCA which was established in 2002. Between 1997 and 2005, Gary served as the project manager of Aurora, a Technology Innovation Challenge Grant Project funded by the USDoE. In 2002, the Aurora Project transitioned into the Aurora Learning Community Association (ALCA), a 501c3 non-profit association.
