Relating to the Seven Steps Forward ALCA is promoting the Seven Steps Forward model. The headings of the Component table are color coded to match the primary step addressed by the column. These include Mapping (1st column), Curriculum (2nd), Assessments (3rd), and Data (4th). However, the remaining Steps (i.e., Standards - standard practices, vocabulary, resources; Planning instruction and PD, and Strategies for learning and professional growth) are also essential.
