This room area is made available to science supervisors/teachers to collaborate within the context of continual improvement.  Continual improvement as it applies to utilizing Oklahoma's PASS standards, blueprints, test specifications, etc.

 

Goals include but are not limited to:

  1. Identify free sources, upload science lessons AND classroom products for purpose of "pooling" artifacts useful in assessment items.
  2. Cultivating an environment in which science teachers can contribute, construct, edit and/or CRT and EOI assessment items/text banks.
  3. Provide environment that reinforces through modeling use of standards, DoK levels, test specifications, blueprints within EACH classroom lesson.

 

Model by Example

  1. Look at the picture (artifact) of a rose.
  2. As a student, one might be able to suggest a food web, a symbiosis of some kind, or properties of species that contributes to its survival.
  3. As a teacher, one should see the potential of a multiple choice test item.  Every student photograph, data table, graph, illustration, essay, procedure should culminate into a series of multiple choice items.
