Following are expanded topics related to the Mapping Domain.

Mapping - Unwrapping Standards (L.1)

Standards Mapping provides a process that addresses three key elements of aligning and using standards. First, through unwrapping, educators internalize the elements of the standard including content, skills, learning targets, big ideas, and essential questions.

This Mapping Topic addresses the Unwrapping process of identifying content, skils, and Depth of Knowledge (DoK). Also addressed in this topic is the identification of a standard's Learning Targets, Big Ideas, and the Essential Questions.
Mapping: Learning Targets (L.0)

Standards Mapping includes the creating of Learning Targets from the standard's content, skills, and identified Depth of Knowledge (DoK). This Mapping topic provides practice in identifying and creating Learning Targets that, in turn, are used by student, parents, and teachers alike.
Mapping: Big Ideas / Essential Questions (L.0)
