This is my understanding of what BioBlitz! is.  For 24 hours, everyone is trying to identify as many as possible different species of plants and animals.  We will want to break up the Enid group so that we have Enid representation with each of the expert Biologists from across the state.  Some of us will be in the water looking for macroinvertebrates, others with botanists identifying plants, some learning how to set traps for mammals, and others bird watching.  On Friday be with one expert and then on Saturday be with another.  I suspect there will be some out looking at night for specimens.

THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE THINGS YOU DO DURING ENID HIGH.
BEING OUT IN THE FIELD WITH FIELD BIOLOGISTS IS VERY INTERSTING.  I did some of this in college.  Very cool indeed!

We will need to prep for this in class (e.g., how to use GPS, scientific names, learn local fauna).

Here is the information.
