The Aurora Learning Community Association (ALCA) supports the establishment and promotion of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) through their use of standards, curriculum, and assessments.
- Is a non-profit education association based out of Fairview Public Schools located in Fairview, Oklahoma.
- Originated in 1997 as a $5,465,000 USDE-funded Technology Innovation Challenge Grant (TICG).
- Out of over 100 TICG grants awarded, the Aurora Project is one of only three that have been sustained. The Aurora Project became the 501c3 nonprofit association, ALCA.
- ALCA is currently working with well over 100 Oklahoma and Texas school districts and Career Technology Centers through the Oklahoma Department of Career Technology and Education.

— Online course delivery including student assignments.

— Online testing.
— Rubric-based assessments.
— Online grade book.

— District web site services.
— Resource sharing across districts.
— Grant-funded project services supporting dissemination, sustainability, and evaluation.
