Standard 2: The student will examine the major cultural and physical regions of the
world to interpret the earthâs complexity
2. Identify examples of and reasons for conflict and cooperation among groups, societies,
countries, and regions.
Standard 4. The student will evaluate the human systems of the world.
This activity may be done in small groups with hard copies of the
images, or with the whole class using projected images.
