Registering into ALCA +

This tutorial guides you through registering into ALCA and joining your PLC.

Steps

  1. Click Login Button

    This displays the Registration link.
  2. Click Register Bin

    This displays the Registration form.
  3. Complete Registration Form

    Under the Requested Groups option, be sure to click the check boxes of all that apply. Click the Submit Registration button when you have completed the form.
  4. Click the "Proceed" Link

    This link when clicked will display the login screen.
  5. Login

    Enter your username and password. Then, click the Login button.
  6. Your Desktop

    This image is that of your ALCA Desktop. The blue boxes on the right will vary depending on what groups you belong.
  7. Click ALCA's Home Page Link

    This link will take us to ALCA's Home Page which contains a link to your District's PLC.
  8. Select Desired K12 PLC

    Select from the pulldown menu your district's PLC.
  9. Enroll into PLC

    Click the Enroll bin to enroll into your district's PLC.
  10. Enter PLC Password

    Enter the password to enroll into your District's PLC. Your administration will need to provide this for you.
  11. Click Here

    Click the click here link to complete your enrollment.
  12. Click PLC Tasks Bin

    The PLC Tasks bin will appear after you have completed your enrollment. Click the PLC Tasks Bin to go to the PLC Tasks room.
  13. PLC Tasks Enrollment

    Click the Enroll bin to enroll into the PLC Tasks room.
  14. PLC Tasks Password

    Enter the password to enroll into your District's PLC Tasks. Your administration will need to provide this for you.
  15. Click Here

    Click the click here link to complete your enrollment.
  16. Click Standards Bin

    Click the Standards bin to access your first task.
  17. Click First Task

    Click the Building on Standards link to begin your first Task.
