Data L2 Activity - Using the Performance Level Report to Identify Students within Performance Levels

The Performance Breakdowns Report allows you to see the percentage of advanced, proficient, limited knowledge and unsatisfactory scores. 
You may refer to the Comprehend Report Quick Start as you work through this activity.

Steps

  1. Accessing Performance Breakdown Reports

    After you have selected the desired year to analyze in the Test Year filter found under the 2) Filter Year option, you are ready to generate reports. 
    *IMPORTANT: Be sure to filter your data with the No option selected in the OMAAP filter option.  The OMAAP scores are different from non-OMAAP scores and result in incorrect report results.
    Click 3) Generate Reports to view the available chart categories of the existing data set.

    Click the Performance Breakdowns report option.

    Click the Test Year Performance Breakdowns report.  The report appears to the right.

    The Performance Breakdowns Report allows you to the percentage of advanced, proficient, limited knowledge, and unsatisfactory scores.

    Now that you have generated our Performance Breakdown Report, it is time to make data relevant by comparing and analyzing data within groups.
  2. Compare Big to Small Using Filters

    This step allows you to Filter and compare data from the district to sitelevels; from the site to student group; and from the student group to the individual student level.



  3. Filter for Subgroup Analysis

    Filter for subgroups.
  4. Identify the Students within a Performance Level

    Click on the bars in the graph to identify the students within a performance level.
  5. Compare and Analyze Subgroup Performance Levels

    Filter to compare performance levels for subgroups.
  6. Identifying Students within a Subgroup
