Obtain text selection from your teacher. -
Categories
As per teacher instruction and group input, identify possible categories in which to compare and contrast information from the text selection.

Venn Circles
Draw overlapping circles based on the number of the categories identified. -
Read Text
Read the text. -
Record
Either individually or with partner record the information onto appropriate sectors of the Venn diagram. Put
- different (contrasts) text within a single circle.
- similar text within overlapping circular areas.

Discuss Results
In groups or class discuss comparisons of their responses, judgements and conclusions.
