Consider uploading photographs that may set that stage for generating questions which may result in student questioning what they see around them, image-base benchmark test item, etc.
This photo of Mr. Holland's notes introducing Biology and sub-areas of study is a great example that models the use of Common Core. Looking at the unwrapped standards one can see lower grade level standards being utilized. Understanding that when studying biology, one would need to define "Biology" initially. But by doing a search of PASS, one will not see a "standard" that aligns specifically to this information (i.e. suffix, prefex) or mode of presentation (i.e. flowchart). The Common Core addresses these kinds of skills that help define and add rigor to PASS.
