The research tribes for 2011-12 are:

  • Osage
  • Quapaw
For each tribe you will need to know:
Where is the tribal headquarters in Oklahoma?
Who is the current tribal chief or chairperson?
What is the approximate enrollment of the tribe?
What is the origin of the tribal language?
Where, in the U.S., was the tribe located before being relocated to Oklahoma?
What are the meanings of the symbols on the tribal seal?  tribal flag?  Is the Oklahoma seal and/or flag different from the national seal and/or flag?
