Folders

Using Resource Folders Resource Folders provide a way to group the 18 different types of ALCA resources an individual creates on his/her desktop. The management of resources is very similar to the way one works with files on a computer desktop. Folders can be added within folders. A person can edit a resource by clicking its pencil and can delete the resource by clicking its trashcan. A resource can also be moved to another folder by clicking the resource's arrow. The resources can be viewed as icons or list by changing the settings under Preferences. Using an Attached Folder Folders can be attached to other resources, assignments, web pages, messages, and any other area within an ALCA Community. As with other resources, a Folder can be emailed to others for their review or use. Folders can even be added to an individualÕs browser favorites for future use. Close Window
