The Oklahoma State Department of Education's web site contains invaluable resources for teachers and administrators in understanding and moving forward with continuous improvement. The links below will take you directly to information such as the PASS standards, testing blueprints, item specifications, and numerous other topics.
  1. API Calculator

    This link will download the Excel file for calculating your API Scores. This is the description provided by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
  2. Alignment Blueprints

    The Testing Blueprints reflect the degree to which each PASS standard and objective is represented on the test.
  3. Item Specifications

    The Item Specifications describe how the assessment items are designed and what factors drive that design. Example items are included for demonstration purposes.

  8. Performance Level Descriptors

    Performance Level Descriptors describe specifically what a student can demonstrate if they are Advanced, Satisfactory, Limited Knowledge, and Unsatisfactory.
  9. Sample Assessment Items

    The Sample Assessment Items provide a comprehensive explanation of the test items are designed including Depth-of-Knowledge. Several example items are provided.
  10. Test Specifications (2007-2008)

    The test specifications for each of the Oklahoma state achievement tests are available via the url links located in this folder. Not all test specification files are currently available on the state department web site.
  11. Title 3 OSDE Curriculum Mapping

    There is infinitely more to teach than there is time to teach it. However, by prioritizing content at each grade level and ensuring teachers are successfully navigating their instruction using the same "map," schools can maximize student learning and ensure students do not experience fragmented, incoherent or repetitive learning experiences.
